i failed all of my exams this year, my mental health is so bad. i haven’t done any online school work and school starts in a couple weeks. i wish someone would just give me advice and reassurance like i do for them :/
hi bby! I really relate to how your feeling. I was hopeless and didn’t know if I could keep up on my education. I learnt to commit to things more than to wait for motivation. it was hard to get used to but I’d wake up early (5AM - 7AM), work out, shower, and try and study online using websites like khan academy, mathisfun, and youtube. i know it’s not as easy as it sounds but tell yourself you‘ll try it for one day. plan out your workout routine early too. and get some sleep(7-8 hours). when doing your online school work, do the ones that you already kind of started on or the ones you find the easiest. use a notebook to jot down all your assignments that you think you’ll finish easiest to hardest. fight through your frustration, procrastination, and laziness because in the end your gonna be better than yesterday even if u put in a little effort to workout or study. there are people out there who don’t even care about their grades, so thank yourself that you have a mindset that acknowledges your education. social media affect your mental health or as it did for myself. take a break for 1 week at least or even 2 weeks. i'd recommend watching study motivation videos on youtube. math antics is a great youtuber! watch his videos. something that would keep me committed to studying is having a “study journal” where I’d watch YouTube videos that cover topics like polynomials in math, and write all about polynomials and what the YouTube video explained. it’s like repeating the YouTube video in a journal. I make sure to add little illustrations and pretty colours. I’d do this with every subject but I’d recommend different notebooks for different subjects. if you ca, get an online tutor. don’t give up. don’t. maybe take a break on a Saturday or Sunday but don’t completely give up. your mindset and grades can’t change tomorrow unless you keep trying. every time you try, your improving your well-being. if you kept this up for 6 months, your future self will be thanking you. your future self and your present self are both YOU. so YOU can only improve by yourself. struggles are only temporary. im taking my time out of my day to help you, beautiful! don’t let this go to waste. starting today, make a difference. you’ll wake up early, workout, shower, study for at least 45 minutes and work on one assignment/essay, focus on being positive, and spend your last few hours before your day ends productively. I’m not saying you don’t get free time to do whatever you want though. things will get better. :)
