i don’t want to self diagnose myself and i don’t want my mom to know i have an eating disorder. i dont make myself throw up but i starve myself for like 2 days and then i’ll eat the third day and then not eat for 2 days again. this has been going on since march and it’s just become a habit. i don’t what to put my problems on my friends but does anyone know how to stop starving urself?

i am so sorry that you are going through this, but i promise the situation will get better. i really suggest seeking professional help if you can because eating disorders are very complex and difficult to manage so it’s important to know exactly what the thought process is that stops you from eating and then alter that thought process. also find safety foods. eat as much of those safety foods when you can and set specific times for meals and make sure you make the meals fun for yourself. make food you love or eat whilst watching your favourite film or show. you got this:)) it’s gonna be ok
